Helping to Promote A Greener Tyre Industry
Here at Ash tyres we appreciate the impact that our modern, busy lifestyles can have on our planets environment so we take every step possible to ensure that we all make the minimum impact on our planets environment when it comes to the recycling your tyres and other motoring products.
Many products can be recycled and we believe that it is in all of our interests to take responsibility for our planet and to make every effort we can to take as much care of it as possible. As you will see below, recycling of old tyres and other products is not necessarily straightforward but by recycling your tyres with us you will be helping the tyre industry to take steps to ensure we look after our planet and in turn to keep costs to a minimum for all of us motorists.
Used tyres accumulate in their millions every year and present a serious environmental problem. At present, tyres are almost impossible to recycle economically and are virtually indestructible. As a result millions of tyres are simply dumped every year around the world but you will help by recycling your products with us to so that they can be transformed as waste material into marketable products such as new tyres, elasto-polymer based rubber products, industrial insulation, road pavement, industrial and domestic flooring, or geotextiles for retaining walls and embankments among others.
Recycling rubber is also a cheaper and more energy-efficient option than producing virgin materials saving on production cost and helping to keep our` the motorists costs down. Tyre-derived products also have low on going production costs creating savings on greenhouse gas emissions along with conserving natural resources that would otherwise be wasted.
Our hope is that the collection and return of tyres for recycling will help reduce the current practices of landfill and help to promote a tyre industry. Please feel free to use our 'Tyre Search Facility' below that features up do date labelling information help you make an informed choice
